Rotors change all 4 or just front?
Just How important is it to replace your rear rotors? I'm not sure how long I want to keep my car and the front rotors are grinding pretty bad, thinking about just replacing the front rotors because I'm a cheapass, is this ok or are you a dumbass if you don't replace all 4??
Thanks for not answering my question
The rotors are beyond resurfacing and would be easier to pickup some brembo blanks

in your initial post, you made no mention of the rotors being beyond resurfacing. you only mentioned that you heard a grinding sound.
you replace what needs to be replaced, and leave alone that which does not. it would seem that if you were truly a cheap ***, as you termed it, you would do the minimum.

Actually, he did answer your question. You mentioned nothing wrong with the rear rotors, only the front. Please be more descriptive next time.
So let me reword this for you. You've now mentioned the fronts are beyond resurfacing. Fine, so replacing the fronts is the way to go. You have not, however, mentioned anything about the condition of the REAR rotors. Therefore, in regards to the REAR rotors:

I would never have my rotors turned when its only a few bucks more to have brand new ones, and its a trip less to the auto store.
If you're rear's dont make any noise, etc. don't replace them. Most people don't do all 4 corners at once anyway

Agreed. I am replacing my rotors, I mean, for the damn labor they're gonna charge why not get new ****? Replace those front rotors, I suggest from tasauto.com, they seem to have good prices.
Of course change your fronts but if you cant resurface them, yea buy new ones and one guy already said accordstore.com is a good place to get some rotors.Blanks and also Drilled.
yo john riley what year accord do you have ?? some years have floatwers real easy to replace some 90-93 it takes quite a bit of work to replace frt rotors and if a shop has to do the job and there is enough metal to machine them, have them machined ,, however if you are doing the job it is pretty much your call.......from reading an earlier post you said that they are below specs so get new ones ..
as for the rear you hardly have to do anything with them unless you go metal on metal and groove them badly oe live in rusty climate and get real pitted
