Default Depth of door mounts in Integra

Hi my cousin is trying to mount a set of Oz speakers but it seems they might be a bit to big. He's using a 1 Inch baffle and they are still to big. Does anyone know what is the max you can fit in an Integra door?

Thanks!

Did he cut out the plastic basket first? You can cut that out, and fit most speakers in there afterward...

I will ask him later today. I don't think he has done anything to the doors so I'm pretty sure he hasn't.

Ok I asked him and he removed the basket completely. They still don't fit. He told me they are 3" inches deep and a bit over 6.5 inch wide.

Yep that is the problem. He us using a 1 inch baffle but like you said the only way he would be able to get the door panel back on is if he modified it. Oh well there goes a perfectly good set of Oz speakers.

I hope my DLS Iridiums fit when I get them... I should check the specs on them again.
