no offense but...i found this out today...a 90-91 integra clutch will in fact fit a YS1 tranny... the spline count is the same...sorry to sound like an *******, but just giving out some correct info...
Turns out all the slutches have the same spline count.. but the spline size is different. I JUST found out that I had a 92+ b series tranny clutch in my 90-91 s1 tranny! I stripped off all the splines on the clutch disk while driving fairly spiritedly. Oops.
BUT here's the weird problem. It worked FINE for 2 years. Even with an EXTREMELY unforgiving 4 puck clutch that would catch 5th alon command. I broke an axle in a turn and a differential as well. It felt a little loose in the drivetrain, but I always attributed that to my crappy speed garage mounts. I can't wait for the feeling of the CORRECT clutch with my new LS tranny... this oughta be good.
Only way I know for SURE to get this right is to measure the spline pattern or have a stock disk on hand to "measure up" the spline to make sure it's all kosher before assembly.
HTH.

No offense, but there was no way in hell that a 90-91 teg clutch plate was going to fit on my JDM YS1! Additionally, neither did the 90-91 LSD. I returned my clutch plate last week, and I just got a new LSD last week too.
Perhaps you don't really have a JDM YS1, because the 90-91 clutch disc opening for the mainshaft is too small to go onto the mainshaft of a JDM YS1. Maybe you have an S1 somone just put a Y infront of, who knows, but it surely won't fit a real YS1. Right above the differential on the gear casing there should be an oval stamp with a YSK in it, followed by a "- 1".
