How much oil is too much?
I just got my car back from Radley Acura in Richmond and it looks like they put 5 quarts in yet again(3rd time).
Is this anything to worry about? 20% extra oil...

You do not want extra oil
From what Ive been told, its bad for the pistons rings and causes too much pressure (bad on seals etc)
Do your own oil changes

Change your own oil and you won't have those problems.....I know, I know, you're tired of us saying it, but it's our job
And I think potential negative effects include foaming of the oil and lack of lubrication or reduced lubrication. The cause is from the crankshaft smashing and splashing the oil. It's creates foams or air in the oil and when it's pumped throughout the engine that air doesn't do much to lubricate internal parts.

When you give them your car for an oil change, give them a gallon ziploc bag, and tell them to use it to put the container with the leftover 3/4 quart in there. Maybe that will help them get the hint.
And, of course, you can use that leftover the next few times so you only have to buy four quarts, not five.
