It will knock when i push it in and when i let it out. I have no idea what this is. please help.

Check to make sure that your throttle cable and clutch cable haven't come loose from the firewall, also check the pedals themselves and see if they have excessive side to side play, a sign of cracked welds.

well i havent gotten around to checking the throttle cable and the clutch cable but the problem has gotten worse. when im going 35 in 5th gear if i just get the throttle down just enough it will just start going knockknockknockknockknockknock.... i dont let it go for too long but ive never heard this sound before except from cvjoints but it never really happens when i turn other than when i turn and push on the throttle. so on tuesday im going to try and check the throttle and clutch cable and ill keep you updated. thanks

well im pretty sure that the throttle cable is on right. or atleast i think i checked it at the right place. but the thing is that the knocking sound is only when im driving. so im not sure if its a bent rod or what. any other suggestions?

hmmmm check your ball joints, it COULD be your Wheel bearings. See if it will do it when your coasting. Ide say if its not doing it when your coasting its not your motor. if it does do it, its somewhere between your clutch and your brake rotor.

Could also be a loose rear motor mount. Hence the clunk at decelleration and accelleration.
