Congrats to Shawn Hillier, Skunk2, and their sponsors!!

Skunk has now won 3 out of the last 3 nhra events and 5 out of 6 events entered.
Its good to see the old integra up to speed so quickly.

NHRA Las Vegas Powerade event highlights
Tony Shagday Qualifies#1 setting both ET (10.149) and MPH (132) track record for the class. Pretty good considering conditions were at 4300 feet.
Shawn Hillier Qualifies#2 with a 10.15. Two cars separated by 0.01 secs.
Tony loses to Padilla by 0.005 secs. (12 inches) Thats what you call a good race. (kudos to Jesus)
Shawn claims track ET record by running a 10.143 during a semi-final single run. Shagday still retains the MPH record.
Shawn cuts a perfect light (0.000 reaction) as Jesus redlights claiming his second NHRA victory for the year making him 2 for 2.

 

Skunk is doing a awesome job

I would also like to send a to Bergenholtz. Another great performance. They got runner up at this last event showing that the win at the last nhra event was not a fluke!

the Dr is a great driver, but I believe he was really hired to be the crew chief and make sure the cars get down the track as fast as possible......but never the less he does a great job at both duty's

both cars are running a k series.

there's a good interview with doc charles in the new issue of overrev - you all should read it, it addresses the issues of him not driving. i spoke to him personally about this past weekend, he enjoyed it but he enjoys being able to be hands on with the cars and developing new stuff on them. plus, he really desires to drive a pro rwd

well i guess either or. im just glad to see skunk 2 back in the game again.
