Default Steering wheel Quick Release.

Did a search, didn't come up with anything useful at all. So I call upon my ITR brothas for some help

Basically I need a momo-type steering wheel quick release. I've taken a look at a few but all of them have a bit of play. Like If I put pressure down on the wheel it'll move like 2-3mm down, but if I release the pressure it'll just pop back up. I know technically that it's secure but I just don't like the fact that the hub has a bit of play in it.

Does anyone know of a quick release hub that will fit momo-type steering wheels that don't have the bit of play involved?

Have you tried in the roadrace forum?
It would seem that most of not all adapters will have a similar amount of "play".

I'll try there next. I've heard of some sort of quick release that doesn't have any play with it. But that person didn't specify, and now that I'm in the market for a quick release;I just want one that doesn't have any play with it.

my nrg has no play. Keep in mind that NO QR will be of any deterrant to thieves. They are so easy to get around it's not even funny.

I'm not sure of the brands. I just got into a few friends' cars with different QRs and all of them had that "play" movement.

When you buy a quick release, don't buy a cheap one! I'd look into SPA products or even a Sparco quick release. I see to many problems with those ball bearing type releases. The last thing you want is your steering wheel to come off.
