Default What HP do 1000cc max out at?

Like the title states, what kind of horsepower do you guys max out your 1000cc injectos at? I know there are a ton of variables involving engine size, boost, type of turbo ect....

Here's my situation, I'm running a 81.5mm GSR motor, portflow head, sk2 intake, crbfab manifold witha t3/t70 (real master power not ebay sschrome, so don't even think about flaming me) with precision 1000cc at 45psi of fuel pressure at idle with the vacuum connected.

My injectors maxed out 100% duty cycle at 537hp and 355tq. Had to turn the boost back down and brought the power down to 500-522hp and the duty cycle was still at about 94-95%.

I thought 1000cc would be good to about 600whp.

did you monitor your fuel pressure? it could have been falling off up top.

yea just raise your fuel pressure up to like 55-60 or something. Hopefully you have a pump that has bigger ***** than a stock one.

I using a walbro 255high pressure pump with stock lines all the way to the rail... I'm thinking about bumping up the fuel pressure but that makes the pump work harder and wears it out faster.

Made 676whp on 1000cc injectors, Base Fuel Pressure was about 65-70psi though

Using the formula on http://www.rceng.com one 1000cc injector is good for 161 Hp at 85% duty cycle and 0.5 BSFC. So x 4 that's 644 HP. at 85% duty cycle and 0.6 BSFC it's 536 HP. That's at 43-45 PSI fuel pressure and doesn't take into account real world or other factors.

EDIT: and of course you can squeeze more power out of the injectors if you raise the fuel pressure or run them at higher duty cycles. But before you do that, research the cons of running highe fuel pressures and high duty cycles.

edited my last response because I should have known somebody was gonna come out and say "well you know so-and-so got more power..."

I even added something in there for the people who would have came in and said "you know you shouldn't run high fuel pressure or high duty cycles because...".

I have run high fuel pressures with no problems EVER, Jason Hunt has also made over 600whp on 880cc injectors, Cortney Green many many others we run higher fuel pressures with no problems. It is not like an FMU'ed car where fuel pressures are 150psi +

Cort did 802whp with a base of like 60-65psi with 1000cc injectors. He has big fuel lines and a big external XS fuel pump tho.

Are you running stock fuel lines and fuel rail? What kind of fuel pump? I thinking about changing the fuel line from filter to rail and bumping up the fuel pressure because I don't think hondata will handle anything over 1000cc too well.

Precisions website states their 1000cc injectors support 171 hp per injector @ 90% duty cycle... so on a 4 cylinder that would be 684hp.

RC Engineering 1000cc/min.
Aromotive pump/regulator
-10an line feed/-6an return
60psi at idle (at fuel rail)
26 pounds of boost
680 whp/490 lbs/torque

Word.. I ran 350 whp through an FMU with INSANE fuel pressures for about 3 years with no "ill" effects so to say..

Bumping fuel pressure up to the 60s is not going to kill your pump..

if your worried about "wearing out" your 80$ Walbro fuel pump, sell your turbo Honda and start wearing man thongs

Will a walbro pump be able to handle a base fuel pressure of 60 or 70 psi and 28psi of boost?

When I made 616whp I was stock lines and filter, GE Fuel Rail, BIG Bosch pump same as Endyn sells. st00pid has informed me he has idled 1600cc injectors with Hondata before.
