Civic 4g SOHC exhaust system
Hello!
I'm writing to you from Europe, because I need your help.
So: I found a Civic 4g(1988) SOHC, engine D16Z2(with catalytic converter), 110HP and it was/is a perfect. I changed the air intake system and now I want little to open the exhaust system. I want/will cut out the catalysator.
My question is the following: Can I cut out the middle muffler too? I don't want to damage valves or something in the engine. Please help me what can I cut out and what must I leave.
In this moment I haven't enough money, so I must leave the stock headers and downpipe.

yes it will be fine. i would suggest hallowing the catalitic and puting a pipe inside to increase flow and the middle muffer is a resenator i would keep that and take out your rear muffler.
