Default spark plugs and turbos

What is a good spark plug heat range for a turboed car with light mods....i have accel ignition, blaster coil, and plug wires.....i heard iridium burns too hot and that its best to go with a spark only one range colder. what is the stock heat range for a b18b?

you can use the stock heat range because i rather burn out a plug than a piston.

I prefer a copper plug for boost, I usually get NGK or Autolights and 1-step colder.. The gap is the critical part

I have NGK Iridium plugs heat range 7 gapped down to .28 runs smooth....
when it was at stock gap it was misfiring like hell.

why do people keep on buying those lower crap material spark plugs when it's been proven that iridium is the best there is and they out last any spark plugs and in the long run you save even more money because you don't have to change your spark plugs so many times.

5's will burn hot (one step). 6's are stock. 7's is one step colder. 8's are two steps colder.

NGK's work great. You ca get the BKR7E or the BKR7EIX (iridium).
