On a runner on the intake manifold. If i remember correctly it has a 2 wire plug on it. I think the plug maybe white also.

may also be in the intake tube depending on the car/year/engine.

z6 on the back of the IM, y8 on the intake piping. You got to tell us what motor it is. SOHC well it could be d15, d16, d17, f22, f23 and bunch of different versions of them.
