so yea...i havent had time to do a valve adjustment yet..but its tapping like crazy...would that cause me to burn oil?

 

ummm....I dunno about the burning oil.....but you need to adjust your valves because it is really not that hard to do and you will hate yourself if you burn a valve....

 

If the Tapping is loud Enuff i would be concerned that you may have a bent valve. And a bent Valve will cause oil Burn.

Also a Burnt Valve will to....

Follow this dudes advice pull the vavle cover off and adjust them. If it still ticks, then something is more than likely bent.
