Ive got them... they sound nice... depends on which kickers your looking at are the the kicker comp vr? or just the regular kicker....Also amp, is gonna determine how they sound as well as what gauge wire you are running.

Read the specs on the sub and what type of box better suites them. A ported box will have a different sound than a sealed. All depends on what kind of bass your looking for. Sealed Box=Tighter, more accuarate bass response. Ported box=louder by a few decibals if tuned properly.

</TD></TR></TABLE>A well built sub box is aaaah well built. 1- the right size. [air volume] for the sub , 2- is well built, [good constuction, sealed airtight, (daaa... except at port, if vented) bracing] a box made of 1/2" partical board just isn't going to cut it, min. 3/4" MDF with 1" face, good to 200-300 watts, if you are running more then 300 watts RMS, min. 1" MDF with 1.5" face, also needs bracing inside box also the MDF must be sealed, [ a sealer painted on the inside of box, fiberglass works]
