Are people that steal our integras professionals or what..???
I understand most people here think people that steal cars are thieves and low-lifes who cant raise money and get there own parts and own things and dont know how to work hard to earn there stuff...right??? I mean I agree with that statement by me above totally...
But are some of these theives professionals? I've seen pics of integras jus stripped bare to the metal....
This is where i was kind of startled...my friends 98 gsr gets stolen last nite...around 9 o'clock from the albertsons grocery store...he calls the cops at 9:00 p.m. on the dot and reports the car stolen....he gets a call back from the sheriff department at 11:30 telling them they found the car abandoned at an orchard right to the side of the street...so my friend goes kool..only 2-1/2 hours..they probally just drove it and beat on it..stole the cd player or what not you know....
He looks at the car..its on jackstands and bricks...motor is gone...half the dashboard is gone...stereo/seats *front and back*, ecu, suspension, the front fenders..hood...headlights taillights...trunklid..rear bumper...basically everything..
I am going to take pics of the car for sure...but this is what i dont get...even if they had like 2-3 guys runnin the damn deal...Shouldnt these ******* be working for Honda or Acura...i mean doesnt it take some good knowledge to take all that stuff out in only 2 1/2hours? And thats not even 2-1/2 hours of strait labor....they had to steal the car...get it back to wherever they took it...take what they had to take...somehow get the car back to an orchard with no wheels on it...its just unbelievable
Moderators might move this thread...but im jus wonderin...do these theives practice or what before they steal a car...is it planned like a murder...do they have it all planned out like the italian job or what...what the hell is going on

While I hate people who steal cars, I must say that stripping a car in under 2 hours is quite impressive. They must've brought it somewhere where they had a ton of people waiting to work on it.
takes me bout 45 mins give or take to strip the inside bimyself
doors
hatch
seats
steering columm
dashboard
all plastics
now the engine and tranny is only a couple of bolts and unpluging the harness.

there was actually an article on this on the Honda Tuning magazine and they caught a guy who did this and to lower the charges he agreed to be interviewed and it seems its pretty common for them to do that kind of stuff in short amount of time says with the tools they had they could take the engine and suspension in about 45 mins.. scary
I hate theives...but 2 hours....if i show u a before and after pic of the car...u would say "someone did that in 2 hours?"...its just fkin unbelievable...
That's why im sayin...these guys should be working for acura or at some shop making some good money..im sure if they know how to take it out..they can put it in also

yeah dude look at a honda tuning magazine the febuary issue of this year there's some gureling pics of cars that been striped down it is like a 6 page article on how some basterd make a living of it. if they can stripe the engine and suspension out in 45 mins they pretty much could of left the car with only its frame in 2 hours

Of course they're pros! This is their income, so they practice and practice. Not to mention that they're probably 'enthusiest' so they know the car in and out. I can see 3-4 experienced guys stripping a civic or integra down to the unit-body frame in 2 hours with hand tools. Hell to a thief that's a life time. It doesn't help that DC2's are so easy to jack. God damned thieves.
Some are pros, yes. These are the guys that strip the cars of bare parts and know exactly what is worth money and what isn't.
The n00bs are the guys who smash a window and jack the stereo, or just steal the wheels.
Protect yourselves. Layer your security.

there was a performance shop in texas that sold cheap motor swaps. turns out they were all stolen. the owners of the shop would stake out cars and then tow them to their shop and strip them. obviously they knew their **** if they owned a performance shop. nice to know those ******* are in jail now. I HOPE THEY ENJOY GETTING RAPED, BECUASE I'M ENJOYING IT. HAHA *******
my homie lives off the 5 freeway here in ELA and his Dad told me that they seen 3 imports pull into the alley behind his house total of 3 guys get out and start to take one of the cars apart....he goes inside to call the cops...comes out and they had the front end off and it was on jack stands and they were gone..he said like maybe 5 mins.
