intake idea?

Default intake idea?

i heard someone say that they just put their air filter on the TB i wonder if that is better? worse?

It depends upon the intake you're using. On my hatchback, I ran a stock airbox and removing the intake completely resulted in a 2-3 horsepower gain all across the powerband. My buddy Brad has a Mugen intake on his ITR and removing the intake resulted in a 10 horsepower loss at peak. It really comes down to air velocity, if you're using an intake that promotes air velocity then you'll make more power with the intake. If you're running an intake that doesn't promote air velocity, then you'll make more power without an intake.
