But D.Patrick finised 3rd in the drivers championship last year out of six people, well if they can sell Sex appeal Legge would be in real good shape of moving up to champ car

Yeah, good to see Legge recover from her previous day incident and I'm sure she was a tad shaken up when the car in front of her pretty much ran over the car beside him. Seem like she blocked it out though and had quite a race.

The accent does it for me.

 

I'm making fun of D. Patrick for being unable to win a race out of 6 people compared to Legge who beat 18 drivers, her first race. So if she uses the whole package being Sex appeal wich D Patrick banks on Legge will have a good chance of moving into Champ cars.

Thanks for explaining, I was quite a bit confused by the wording of the first post you made. The post made it seem as though Legge was similar to D. Patrick, banking only on sex appeal, which it is obvious she did not.

Legge showed she has the talent to move up and be competitive in Champ Car.

To be fair to Danica, while the field may have been smaller last year, she faced much deeper competition. Over half the field in Atlantics last week were C2 cars (most of which i don't think will be back for the remaining races), whereas Danica had to face both Dalziel and Fogarty. I don't think anyone in this year's field except maybe Tonis Kasemets would be capable of beating either of those two if they were running in the series this year.

But of course, as we all know, the first step towards winning is actually show up at the race.
