Here is an updated head count for Speedtrial's VIR 2/23-24 driving school:

Beginner = full
Intermediate = <5 spots left
Advanced/Racer = <15 spots left (although that will change soon)
Instructor = need a bunch more, please contact me ASAP if you are qualified

So basically what your saying is that you're not encouraging beginners to try and sign up?

 

What qualifies someone for advanced/racer/instructor? Mike (yellowcorn) has been asking me to come and I just found out our testing in Texas is pushed up a week so I've tentatively got the date open assuming I can get a car running by then. Let me know what type of qualifications are needed and I'll see what I can do.

How many/what sort of events have you done? I know you have experience, so I'm thinking you're no beginner. It would be really cool if you come.

 

I'm planning to fill it with racers. In fact, we might end up running the current small handful of Advanced with the Instructors, and setting up an entirely separate "racer only open practice group" in place of the current Advanced on the schedule, made up of Grand-Am Cup cars, Speed World Challenge cars, and SCCA/NASA cars. I'm making them an offer they can't refuse... stay tuned for details!
