There are way too many variables to even begin to answer that question

Turbo is always there, but nitrous you have to pay $40 a fill... TURBO gets my vote

personally, ive ran direct port 120 shot, then decided to go turbo. the nos is "not as fun" as a turbocharged car. from my experience, the maintenance on a turbocharged car is less painful.

i dont wanna start a debate or anything but the power of a turbo is always there unlike nos where you never know, unless you keep track, when the bottle is going to get low. just less hassle in my opinion from what i went through.

never had a boosted or nitroused b16, but i've had both on my b18b motors and i'm sure it's pretty much the same story. nitrous just isn't as fun and tuning is somewhat ridiculous without a bottle warmer. and waiting 3 hours and $40 a refill is also a pain in the ****.

Go turbo. Its alot more fun and the power is there all the time. Plus it is a better building block if you plan on modding it in the future.

I liked the dual nature of nitrous, It was there when I needed it other than that I had a dead reliable near stock B16A. No hiccups, part throttle hesitations, no wierd idle, no problems no worries. With a turbo you're going to need to tune, tune, tune just to get your car to drive like stock.

nitrous is the most cost effective hp gain, but as everyone says in here, its a pain to refill your tank when you want to go fast. migh as well go for turbo
