Default h22 guys what kind of compression number are you seeing?

Just need some general idea about what kind of normal number should i see on a h22 off a 97 lude.

Well, that depends on your setup, are you blown? or NA? Lower compression headgasket? it all differs. Let us know! I'm actually taking mine today from my turbo'd 4th gen to see if I have a blown headgasket. I'll post up numbers later!

my JDM h22a was an almost solid 210 across the board.

Stock H22 head, OEM head gasket, H22A1 block with OS Type S pistons, 215 to 220 all the way across.

It also depends on where you live, IIRC, and the condition of your motor.

My H23 VTEC at 11.1:1 CR hit ~250 psi on all four, while my buddy w/ his older H22 hit ~240......carbon can bring your numbers up.

optimally you are looking for a constant number all over the board.....and above 200 is always nice, but that really doesnt mean that much, just look for consistency.....
