Default Need help with A/F gauge please!

On my 96 lude i know im supposed to run the main wire to the "thicker" white wire coming out of the ecu, but i want to double check. there are a few white wires, then one HUGE one... idk if its even ok to splice together. Can anyone help me out so i dont **** it up? i dont wanna spend money on a shop...

Radio shack sells wire splices. Don't use the oldschool way of splicing when you're dealing with the ecu, that's just asking for trouble.

And look for ECU pinouts and match the wire you're looking for to the correct one for the ECU you're working with.

Yup; use the T-taps instead of the strip/twist method.

Also, use the lower white wire; it should be the lowest/bottom wire compared to the others, on the bottom harness IIRC.

sell it because it's not really an accurate gauge. gauges that read off the narrowband a/f gauge aren't that accurate. the money can be better spent on other parts.

accurate reading??? hahaha go compare the autometer gauge to a wideband and then tell me how accurate it is. what is a a/f gauge gonna tell u anyways? do u have a way to adjust your a/f ratio?

what i think these guys are trying to tell you is that the a/f gauge's readings is not accurate enough as a tunning device... it is more of a monitoring system like the stock temp. gauge...
