I have a jdm gsr swap in a eg hatch, not that it matters. Anyways, Im driving along and i felt my clutch getting more and more sensetive throughout the day and just thought it was nothing or it was my imagination. Then it got progessively worse to the point where it wouldnt go into anygear. I looked under the car and theres no tranny fluid leaking or even wet. When i press the clutch its like putting youre foot into a bucket of water and it dosent even return to original position. I managed to make it home 60 miles with using 5th gear alone, it was a miracle. Anyway, my friend says it might be the slave cylinder went. I have no idea. If anyone knows what it is, can they post how to fix it or a thread that shows.

 

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. In my case the plastic adjustment sleeve progressively broke to pieces and every time it happened I would go adjust the cable more so that it would go into gear. Eventually as i got towards the end of the adjustment sleeve the entire thing just broke. Oh yeah and until i got a new cable my petal stayed closer to the floor than it should have. If you have a cable trans. I would check the adjustment bracket mounted on the trans. If not it might be the slave cylinder.
