Hey,

So were trying to install a J's racing intake on a 2000GSR with a jdm b18c (gsr). The throttle body sits so low in the intake manifold that the intake sits so low that it hits the ac lines. Is there anyway to get around this? Is it just the GSR manifold that makes the TB sit this low?

yea, the gsr manifold has 2 runners thats y it sits low compare to b18b and b18c5.

 

So, then is it possible to install the J's racing intake without taking out the AC lines? I doubt it.

 

NO..u need skunk2 or blox type manifold...u go that intake and u didnt even know its not gonna fit on GSR?

 

We got it to fit!! We removed the AC lines bracket and pushed the AC lines down sooo far. It fits perfect, and doesn't come close to touching the hood.

This wasn't on my car. I didn't buy the intake.

It's Friday bitches!!

 

I can't wait to get my whale *****. I won't have to worry about the GSR IM or AC lines.
