Default AEM CAI owners, need some help

So the bracket on AEM CAI that bolts down to the frame of the car is cracking off the intake and has created 2 holes so far(it will completely break off soon and leave 1 big hole). I bought the intake used and it was missing the rubber piece that the bracket mounts onto, I used something simiilar but alot harder so there is less flex, and it eventually caused it to crack.

I can get the bracket welded back on no problem but I'm wondering what I can do to prevent this from happening next time? I could not find something similar to the rubber mount that usually comes with the intake kit. Any suggestions?

My rubber mounting piece was missing on mine, so I called AEM and they sent me a new one for free.

YEah, JB weld to fix the bracket but I still need a soft(rubber)mount to prevent it from happening again. I'll call AEM on Monday again since their tech was not available today.

Go to your local hardware store and look around for thick rubber rings Kinda like the ones you would use for a garden hose. ??? Just a thought.
