Default Crower nonvtec 403's with factory retainers?

Alright, so now that i know how much crower retainers cost and crower valve springs cost, i would rather not get both sets. So i was wondering if anyone has any expierence running factory retainers with a camshaft like the crower 403's. Is it possible for me to run the duel valve springs with the factory retainers and them hold up with no problem? or is this not recomended at all with a camshaft as aggressive as the 403's?

The nonvtec 403's are going to be fine with stock retainers. Even the 404's will be fine as long as you don't plan to rev past 9000 rpm. Good luck
