My abs light just went on 2 days ago and today when i drove the car, the clutch pedal fell pretty much to the floor with no resistance like it usually has. It engages at the last inch or 2 now. The brakes feel fine. Could these 2 things be related? what should i check

 

start by checking brake and clutch fluid

If clutch fluid is low, look for fluid behind the pedal under the carpet. If so, you need a new clutch master cylinder. The abs is a seperate problem

 

Where can i check the clutch fluid?

 

its the small bottle right next to the brake fluid and it should be about half way full. if you look at it closely it says clutch fluid on it.

 

so i fixed the problem today, it was the clutch master cylinder. I guess it was some how related to the brake problem because the abs light went away. I dont see how though
