Default ECU pinout locations

The previous owner of my car, LS hatch w/ obd0 PR4 hacked up the wiring when they did the swap, just taped them together. I want to re-do the wiring with a soldering gun and heatshrunk rubber and I am a bit confused......how do you read the pinouts on the ECU? What side do you start with A1? Does it go left to right? Are even up top and odds down low?
I have searched but I there is not much on pre-obd ecu pinouts but plenty of the same thread for obd1 and obd2 ecu pinouts

I would just connect the two that are already together but I think the wiring for my injectors is screwed up and my EACV I would like to not have to guess

Thanks

If you are looking at the end of the plug that goes into the ecu with the release tab facing up, the A1 is the top right, A2 is bottom right, odds on top, evens on bottom.
