Default Darton style sleeves in B20B block with cracked sleeves

Ok I got some new Darton style sleeves for my B20B block with 3 cracked sleeves. I was told that the stock sleeves should just be bored out so that the new sleeves would fit in. The problem is there will still be some of the stock sleeve left when a new sleeve is installed. I can't see the idea in pressing the new sleeves in the stock sleeves because they old ones can't be very stable because of the cracks and I'm afraid the new sleeves will drop. What am I'm missing here?

Cracked B20 sleeves

The new nickel content sleeves....

Have your machinist talk to Dan Benson, I think that Dan would give him the straight dope.

Ok Jeff told me what to do... that should not be a problem for the mashine shop to do:

"You have them machine a "shelf" at the bottom so the sleeves SIT on that shelf. It can't sink. You can bore the cracked sleeve down, just use JB weld all around it."
