the car is a 92 civic vx with a d16z6 swap, throwing code 43, it barely idles, hessitates through out the entire rpm range. And basicly has no power.
I already replaced the 02 sensor, fuel injectors were cleaned 2 weeks ago, cant figure out what it is. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

 

Which computer are you running? Did you search for the code, or try to look it up in a book yet?

 

running p28ecu, code says fuel supply system, i'm in the middle of putting in new pump. any other ideas????

 

any other codes? this cel can be cause by a lot of different sensor. One of my friends threw it a few months ago. It was his o2.

 

no other codes, 02 is brand new, just got put in a week ago

 

how long has the swap been in? Did it throw the code right after the swap, or just out of nowhere? Do you know anyone you can swap injectors with to test?

 

stay with the code right now and make sure good fuel is getting to the engine

 

Have you changed the fuel filter? My car also started to throw a code 43. My car just idles funny tho. My buddy saids to change the fuel filter, and clean the fuel injectors.

 

it started doing it out of know where. the injectors were just cleaned and checked 2 weeks ago, fuel filter hasnt been done yet.

Both good ideas. Fuel filter should be changed pretty regularly anyways.

WTF? Am I the only one who has no idea what he means by this?

 

Code 43-fuel supply system make sure the engine is getting good fuel all the way from the tank fuel pump to the injectors + everything in between sorry could not be more specific had to run out didn't try to mix everyone up.

 

this may sound dumb, but is your gas cap working right?
