MotoGP: Estoril this weekend
Second race of the season, the Suzuki's are showing early speed again, albeit in a wet session (drying towards the end, still about 3 seconds off last years pace).
1 Alex Barros - Camel Honda - Honda RC211V - 1:40.260
2 John Hopkins - Team Suzuki MotoGP - Suzuki GSV-R - 1:40.375
3 Valentino Rossi - Gauloises Yamaha Team - Yamaha YZR-M1 - 1:40.614
4 Sete Gibernau - Team Movistar Honda - Honda RC211V - 1:40.693
5 Kenny Roberts Jnr. - Team Suzuki MotoGP - Suzuki GSV-R - 1:41.500

Nice to see Sete is on pace and presumably racing with the hurt shoulder. Personally I hope Hopkins is able to stay on pace all weekend, and Nicky can stay on track, so there can be an American on the podium.

Good to see that Nicky seems to have rebounded quickly. Hopefully he will have the confidence and patients to do well in the race. He has already showed he can lay down some fast laps.

I'd love to see the look on Scwantz's face if Hopkins pulls this off.

FINAL QUALIFYING
1 Alex Barros - Camel Honda - Honda RC211V - 1:37.202
2 Sete Gibernau - Team Movistar Honda - Honda RC211V - 1:37.329
3 Carlos Checa - Ducati Marlboro Team - Ducati Desmosedici GP-5 - 1:37.456
4 Valentino Rossi - Gauloises Yamaha Team - Yamaha YZR-M1 - 1:37.643
5 Marco Melandri - Team Movistar Honda - Honda RC211V - 1:37.835
Barros continues his domination of the charts this weekend. I guess Ducati found their pace, and I'm sure the fastest straight in MotoGP isn't hurting them either
Hayden is sitting in 9th........

Just 'cause Kevin has such close ties w/Suzuki. He's officially just an outside consultant now. Anyways.. I know he's totally root'n for Hopper.

Kind of a weird race as expected. The weather ruined a few days.
Hayden needs to get his **** together.
