For the past 3 days my CEL will come on in the first 5 mins of driving. I can shut the car off, and start it right back up, and it will not come back on for the rest of the trip. Anyone ever seen this? Is it possible to check the code the standard way if the light wasn't on when the car was turned off?

 

it's probably an o2 going bad. Don't restart your car right away. Just pull over, jump the connector, get the code, then get rid of the light. I'm betting on code 1.
