well the thing is i swaped a zc sohc into my 1990 dx hatchback. i got the harness rewired correctly, the ecu isnt throwing any codes, but the injectors arent spraying...i tested for power in the injectors and they all ahev power, im guessing the ecu is not throwing the message or i dont know what it could be, i appreciate any help.

 

are you using the zc ecu,..? or atleast an SI ecu.? if so, try changing that out for a known working ecu. if that doesnt help, than its the distributor or distributor wiring. the sensors in the distributor is what signals the ecu to ground the injectors n spark.

 

yea i tried a known working ecu and still no spray, its actually at a shop and theyre doing it for me but i know the guy so i kinda helped them out, they wired everything exactly the way they wire every car and they all seem to work, they slapped on a known working dizzy as well and still no spray, only way to run my car is by spraying gas into intake manifold throttle body and it runs alright, but without it it wont run since theres no spray, dnt kno what to do....

 

If its not the ECU its the wiring job.

 

so what do you suggest??

 

Distributor could also be at fault.

 

umm.. nobody mentioned that all the injectors could be clogged from the motor sitting for so long.. take an air compressor and set it at 120psi and blow air into the injectors backwards to see if they are clogged. on my b16 i swapped 3 of my 4 were completely clogged and didn't spray.
