Default 5th gen Accords

I have a question. My dad just bought me a 96' accord V6. Ive been looking around for different mod's for the car and it doesnt have a lot for the 96 V6. On the other hand, the 6th gen has a lot of parts for the V6, im wondering does it make a difference I buy something for my car even though its not a 6th gen V6??

Thank you for your time.

Man you're SOL!

That gen V6 doesnt have any aftermarket support for it. You might get off getting a intake but thats about it. I havent really seen a a highly modded one. It shares the c27 outta the pre 90's Legend so you might wanna try that route. I know you can swap in the 5spd from those Legends.

Ive seen that one for a long time now but that car doesnt have a lot of performance mods. I was meaning heavily modded as far as performance goes. He barely has anything for performance gains.

that is the most repulsive car i have ever seen!!! its got a body kit and some ICE!!! woohoo!!! but for real it is going to be very hard to find anything thats going to get power out of that V6...there might be a couple things but not too many!!!

ahh man, now I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight! I'm gonna have a dream that someone stole my car and desecrated it, worse still they posed a fat chic next to it.

Seriously what in the hell is up with that door panel, grose. Looks like some little kid broke in to the cotton *****, what a crappy display! Someone needs to take that bottle of NOS and blow the motor so we never see that thing again.

Best thing you can do for your car man, is NEVER let a fat chic sit in it. That's my advice! Naw seriously man, someone might make underdrive pulleys and possibly cams and stuff for it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. From what I've read that motor doesn't have a lot of potential.

Yup probably because from what I have seen the 4cyl is faster than the 6cyl from these years as the 6 is so damn heavy. Not really much you can do to it.

You can do lots to your car, you just need the money

You can turbo, most piping is custom as is anyways. You could have the block custom resleeved, and put some custom pistons, increase/ decrease compression if you wanna add some forced induction, you can still do MSD ignition, nitrous etc..you can create a lot of HP, just most of it will be custom
