This came from the HT bike forum but I've been laughing so hard I figured some other people would get a kick from this too. Sadly I'm sure there'll be plenty more videos of 2-wheeled stupidity before the year is out.

i can't remeber there names, but i think the guy who owns the "pits" name the guy who was REALLY young and won the Xgames and then he launched his bike into san fansico bay.
Like i said they All do the motoX stuff. Its a different beast, in that sport you need to push the limits, do crazy ****, and sometimes crash really hard if you want to make it.
That pit and building has also been on real TV, were the younger kid i was talking about ealier was trying a new variant of a back flip, and went over it to the right.
To some one who doesn't understand extreme sports and the ruh some people get from it, i guess you would think they are stupid.

Ah ok, I think that place does look familiar. However, that dude wasn't wearing proper gear and one way or the other they didn't have that net rigged up properly. Major oversight = major ouchness. Looks like they thought it was funny though

Reminds me of a skateboard video, of the kid straddling a stairway railing. Foot slips, comes down HARD on his groin meeting the railing (his feet didn't quite touch). Of course he's near the bottom of the stairs still moving, so now his feet hit, he pivots forward SMASHING his face into the concrete. Of course now he's rotating, so his legs come up over his head, nearly hitting him in the back of the head and nearly breaking his spine.
Try as I might, at the end of the day, it's really hard to feel sorry for them...

Oddly, I could see someone saying the same thing about a race car driver being injured/etc. in a racing related crash.
That action in that video looked painful.. I'm pretty sure the guy knew what he was getting into from the start of it, and I'd imagine that they know from the beginning that half the entertainment for half the people is to watch them get hurt..
