how does air get into the cooling system?

Default how does air get into the cooling system?

if i open my radiator cap to fill it up with some fluids, is air getting in there and making air pockets?

Nice way to explain it ... i was going to say water is denser than air so no but....

Air gets in the cooling system when you drain and then refill it.

Just topping off the radiator will not cause air to get into the system.

No, you don't have to re-bleed again.
