i have a 94 LS with 140,000+ miles on it. The tranny is bad not to mention its automatic. Ive been thinking about an engine/tranny swap and eventually turbo. Would it be worth it to spend the extra money on a gsr or should i stick with an ls considering the lower compression? Also which one is cheaper or more reliable to build if im going to be running higher PSI?

You'll make much better hp with the GSR but the LS is cheaper. Anyway you go just make sure you add boost...
