Default headers

got a 00 civic. want to replace headers. which one is better, 4-2-1, or 4-1. im prob. gonna go with the 4-2-1. is there any horsepower difference?

both types will give u a good amount of midrange and low end, but, the 4-1 will yield better numbers in topend.............

A 4-1 will improve top end, whereas a 4-2-1 will improve midrange.

i've never had 4-1's but my friend told me he felt hella difference with his, i drove it and could feel a good diff. 4-1 gets my vote

True, atleast you let him down easy, unlike most would have done. Anyways back to the question, it just depends where you looking for gains, midrange or top end. My vote also goes for a 4-1

4-1 for the drag racers, 4-2-1 for the auto-x'ers. just personal preference on where you want to gain power.
