Default motor swap blues :(

UPDATE the car is running now. only 1 problem. on the passenger side shock tower there are 4 plugs. the smallest one [that has 3 wires coming out] i have no idea where it goes. the wires were cut by a friend of a friend

this is a 98 b18c1 using obd1 p72 in a 93 dx
---------------------------------------

ok so we got the obd2a b18c1 into a 93 dx hb.

final steps to complete the swap.

*repin passenger stock tower harness (for some stupid reason im keeping the car obd2)

i need help/tips/advice for the above.

*connect shift linkage
*connect rear mount "L" bracket
*plumbing

Can you be any more specific as to what you need? For the wiring, just find a pinout diagram and trace the wires. PITA, but you'll know it's right.

Just plug the OBD2 B18C harness into your Civic's shock tower plugs. Done.

Then just add the vtec, ks, & iab wires to your ecu plugs.

Find an OBD1 P72 to use with your B18C and call it a day.

yes, if you have an obd1 ecu that's exactly what you need to do. Like boomslang said, just run wires for vtec, ks, and iab. And to make it really easy...

Vtec solenoid - A4
Vtec pressure switch - D6
Vtec pressure switch ground - A26
Knock Sensor - D3
IAB - A17

Good luck man.
