ALB Light on JDM EF8 cluster. *SEARCHED!*
I SEARCHED AND CAME UP WITH PRETTY MUCH NOTHING, THE OTHER TREADS SAID ANTI LOCK BRAKE, DONT THINK THAT'S WHAT IT IS........i have no idea what this light coming on is. its not a cel, its a light on the bottom right of the gauge cluster. reads with yellow backround "ALB". i called password and they said it would probably be a sensor thats not on a USDM car. but if that was true wouldn't it be on all the time? it only comes on when the engine is under a load. any help would be much appreciated.

i'm having the same issue but with the overheating light. flickers on and off. sometimes off for a minute at a time, sometimes on when the car starts and no real reason why so far. bump to solve for both us.

US CRXs never had ABS or EF8 clusters. Someone had to rewire your cluster plugs to make the EF8 cluster fit since it doesn't just plug in. A US CRX has 2 plugs on the cluster (HF has 1 for shift light too) and the EF8 has 3 plus one for the little car in the bottom right.
No one except the guy who wired your cluster will know why your light is coming on.
Who ever rewired your cluster plugs must have wired the ALB wire to something else. Open your cluster hood and trace the wires that feed the ALB light and tell us what colors they are.
I was thinking of wiring mine to my Vtec so I could see it come on and the Cat light to the two stage manifold.
