Basically can anyone see any problems with fitting an ITR 6 speed LSD box onto a B16 A???

My standard box is busted, and ive found somewhere to buy this ITR box, looking like it would be cheaper to buy the ITR box than recon mine

Going into an EG6 hatch

Need to know asap if there will be complecations as im pretty much car-less at the moment

the only itr thats 6sp is the rsx-s/r and k tranny will not fit a B
5sp itr will fit fine

 

ritey well glad i asked here first then. im going to have to double check if it is a 6 speed box then. Can it be modified to fit if it is a 6 speed?

 

Is it a K20a tranny? If no then its not a 6speed....I guarantee its not
Anything is possible with money. But if its -01 itr it will bolt right up since its a b tranny

 

the guy i spoke to on the phone told me that it would fit, so now im not sure, im gonna have to ring him up again and double check. Its from JAKAN if you herd of the place

 

Call again and ask what number it is. If its S80 its itr lsd
Then ask if its modified. If no, its not 6ps. If yes, ask if they opened it to verify the extra gear (which I highly doubt is there)

 

ok so just to clarify. What number should be on the box for it to fit mine? cheers for your help by the way

All B series transmissions will bolt up (but the s80 lsd seems to be what youre looking for)
