Pedals
I am really wanting to get some pedals to ease heel toe shifting, rev matching, etc. I cannot justify spending $100+ on pedals when there are other options, so the Mugen pedals are out. I am looking at either teh Razo Carbon Fiber pedals, or the Razo Comeptition pedals. Does anyone have experience w/ either? The Carbon Fiber come in a Small or Large size - I need to get an idea of which I should order. I do have big feet (size 12) if that makes a difference. The competition seem cool b/c you can adjust the angle of the sides to be wider or slimmer to make heel toe easier. Another concern that I have is the grip. Any experienced feedback would be great. TIA.

I have bought 3 sets of the race pedals. I like them. They work great.
They have carbon Fiber if you must.
Buy them from LTB and you will quickly find out they have the BEST customer service out there.....period.

carbon fiber certainly isn't a must, I just thought that the non carbon fiber version (same model) was ugly. I'd much prefer grip/performance over carbon fiber. Thanks for teh feedback.

The ergonomics of the sparco race has always done me well as far as performance. Heel toeing is made easy by the design of the pedal.
OMP used to make a really kick *** pedal set.....I can't seem to find it anywhere now.
Maybe Rice_Classic will chime in, he has a set of the OMP pedals.

Not a problem. Thanks for the heads up.

I went to PEP BOYS and bought some clamp-on pedal covers that met my needs. Angled a bit like Kirk's. Worked for me.
With pedal covers you can really increase the size of the gas pedal and move it to the left some. For a while it took practice not to hit both brake and gas at the same time on accident
I had to undo years of not moving my lazy right foot far enough to the left to squarely hit the brake pedal..

I used the Razo's in my Integ for years. Worked fine.
For the race car, we went with sparco- drill holes so there is no chance of the pedal coming loose unlike the other "street" types that have mounting brackets. We also added grip tape, since the rubber bushings on the Sparcos did not work well, and came off.
On a daily driver, I would personally use grip tape- wet shoes on blingy shiny pedals doesn't work well...

Foreshortening makes them look closer in that shot than they really are but they do work really well. They're about 3/4" apart when the brake is pushed down.
