i've searched through all the threads that had cruise control in it and no one really solved the why my cruise control stopped working problem. anyone find out what it is yet?

clock springs? where is that at? no, there is no CEL. before it stopped working when i was using it on the highway after a while my car would just jerk real hard like the engine got cut off and turned on again. it did that about two times then when i tried to engage it i would have to press the button several times for it to actually engage and for the light on the cluster to turn on. now it doesnt turn on period. the light on the cc button turns on though. how much does a new unit usually run for?

 

clock springs are what allow you to turn the steering wheel without having wires wrapped all around themselves or the steering column.

well my horn still works and my srs light isnt on so shouldnt the cc work?

 

if the horn still works and theres no airbag light probally not the c.s.
