Default vtec volt stabliser???

would anyone know that if the

Direct Power System (vtec version)
http://translate.google.com/tr...a%3DG

does the same job or similar job to the

raizin volt stabliser
http://www.the-pivot.co.jp/pro....html

i got the direct power system and notice that the voltage is more consistantly at 14.3, than previous 13's (this is seen through vafc2), and that power seems to be more consistant in the vtec range (based on feel, this is also weather dependent), it's meant to have more throttle response...or is this just marketing crap?

i need a grounding kit and the raizin one comes witht he volt stabliser
i was wondering if it would it hurt to attach both? i mean the raizin volt stabliser with 5 point earth kit is only AUS$100 so i think it's worth the buy

thx for you time

The placebo effect is what causes some people to report increases on the "butt dyno", even where there is no increase. In addition, there is a medical response in some people that take a placebo and start feeling better--- this is a real phenomenon.

For example:

"Yeah, I ran 100 octane gas and the car felt a lot faster!!! I don't know why the 1/4 mile time didn't change, I think the clock is wrong."

The high octane gas didn't really make a difference, but the "placebo effect" caused the user to think he had more power.

Let me just add... because I am awfully quick to judge...

A number of people have reported increases in throttle response from a grounding kit. I seriously doubt it, but it seems to be a large number of people. Your mileage may vary.

How much is the grounding kit? $70? For what? 2hp? Can you even feel 2hp?

But throttle response can be felt, and if those kits do work a good tunner could possibly use it to smooth out the power or atleast get a few MPGs better.

thx for you input!

im just wondering if you think that if i place a direct power system and the raizin kit would it be a overkill having two similar working volt stablisers?

it ain't for the power...
it's meant to keep volt more stable throughout the car as well as earthing things properly

it's meant to (i do say suppose to) keep power more consistant as well as a bit more throttle response and bright headlights and better sound quailty in your stereo system

Kuwano also make one, and charge and extar $70 for the VTEC one for some strange reason as i'll bet theyre all identical except for the colour and the sticker on the front of them. I seen a thread on ITR-DC2 and some people who have the Buddy Club condensor have reported smoother throttle responce coupled with a considerable MPG increase

I bought one those thingys in the first pic from Justin @ AJR. T1R I believe. I haven't even put it in yet He said he noticed quicker throttle response in his ride. Honestly, the good deal he gave me was the kicker so that's why I bought it
