205 = width of tire/tread. stock is 195

50 = sidewall higth. stock i believe is 55 for DC's

15 = yes you're correct, the rim size. and 15 is stock for DC's

205: this is the "tread width." 205mm. not the width at the widest part of the tire, the tread width.

50: this is the "section" or "profile." 50%. this is the distance from the bead to the tread, and is 50% of the tread width. in this case, that would be 102.5mm. this counts part of the tire that's actually inside the rim, so you may not measure a full 102.5mm (almost exactly 4") from rim to tread of the tire when the tire is installed on a rim.

15: you guessed it, "wheel size." self-exlpanatory.

overall, 205/50-15's are a great size for factory 15" wheels. enjoy!
