how to take off firewall?

Default how to take off firewall?

i gotta 94 coupe, and did alot of weight reduction, and i found that theres some rubber/plastic firewall pad thingie under the pedals, and where the passenger rest its foot on, under the glove box. i tried ripping it off but its in tact. any suggestions? kinves?

I hope this is for a track car only. I think you'll need to remove your dash and take out your heater core and fan blower cause I think it goes up behind those parts as well.

yea its kinda foamy thing under the black rubber part.. its like right behind the clutch, brake, and gas pedals.

It is heat resistant material, and fire proof.. But Hey its your car, your life.. U gotta either just cut it out or remove dash and heater assembly to get it out, I had mine out in the del sol . But I put it all back in..

I had an EX project car and i was ripping that **** out and it was wet, I swear that **** weighed 50 something pounds soaking wet. Yeah good luck removing the pedal assemblies and all the carpte and heater core. That stuff is put there for a reason and they want it to stay there.
