Hi all,

I've just blown my cash on a Mugen intake + Toda Fightex coilovers (lovely btw). I've just about run out of cash for the moment but I'm considering painting my stockies (15inch Enkei) or perhaps buying a cf hood (A friend is selling one cheap) to tide me over in the meantime. I love a cf hood ona JDM front but it looks like a "lid" on the US/Aus spec front. I painted the mirrors black in the last one as I'm thinking of getting some Spoon mirrors too.

Any thoughts appreciated.

doesnt look good stock mirror photochoped..but ya spoon CF mirrors will looks hot!

Hiya - there was a CW R in front of me on my way home not more than an hour ago, and this morning I spotted another CW R coming from the opposite direction (this one had black wheels and a carbon fibre hood) <--- that one looked sweet!

So my vote's for the Blk rims + cf hood

 

I do not really feel a cb hood on a cw itr. I love it on the py Rs but on the cw the contrast
seems to be to hard, especially when you see the car from the front.

Looks kinda it has a big hole in the hood

 

i cant seem to vote because iam still a trial user bah...
but i would vote for cw with black rims a cf hood thats the combo
i had on my turbo R and it turn alot of heads ...

 

dont bastardize those wheels, if you want some black wheels for your car get some diamond black ce28n's... leave your stock wheel color alone.

 

^ Agreed - don't ruin your stock ITR parts, find a safe place in the garage to store them. You'll come back to them in the future, believe me.

I like cf hoods and black wheels...but your car looks great as it is. Id leave it alone.

 

if you want something different i would try Gunmetal wheels with a polished lip..

That would definately do the cut...

And, a carbon fiber hood... mm..

i would leave her as it was born... i would consider something like some lovely Volks 16" for a nice mod...
