Default rpm points for vtec-e.

Hello I was just wondering if anybody could tell me at what rpms does vtec-e engage it seems to be different for every gear.

Thanks.

it is different. depends on throttle, speed, and gear as to when it engages. sometimes sooner, sometimes later. if the ecu feels it needs it kicked in it will.

it will engage sooner under hard acceleration than in slow (cruising) acceleration

VTEC kicks in at around 5 thousand rpms, no what gear you're on

He's asking about vtec-E not regular VTEC. And the other guy was right.
