i just bough a 2004 black ep3. its got almost no miles on it and am lookin to put an intake and exhaust on it for the meantime. after the summer once i can make 2k i will put a tubo in it, but what intake has best numbers, i know injen and aem are good, but is it the regulare aem or the V2. my friend tells me i should just make one out of some piping.

 

Honestly, for the money they cost and the limited gains you get, your best bet might just be to get an eBay intake for our car. Or yeah, you could fab one up yourself, I suppose.

 

if you're going turbo i would put your money towards that instead of doing the intake/header thing as they will need to be replaced when the time comes to slap the snail on. with the parts i've swipped and swapped on the ej8 i could've been boosted rolling on volks. instead i'm NA rolling on speedmasters, so definitely do your research.

if you really need something to hold you over like an injen or aem, or even a comptech icebox, hit us up and we'll see what we can hook you up with...

Agreed. Ebay intake. I got a Injen for the wife and had to cut the **** outta the fender wall for it to go in. **** that thng.
