Default Torque Steer (sp?) on my Type S =(

Is that normal to have torque steer in 1st gear? Do you guys experience the same thing often? The car pulls a lil to the right when I first accelerate.

Would an LSD help?

Please help me out here, I've never really experienced this much of it before.

lol...are you serious? You have a higher powered FF platform...what did you expect? You should try the CL-S with the VSM turned off...lol.

Well, I had a Type R, and I never really noticed it, is it cause it had a LSD?

Yes we all experience it. LSD will minimize it.

Torque steer is caused by unequal length driveshafts. An LSD will not make it better.

It can also be caused by and open diff since one wheel spinning and the other gripping is obviously going to have an effect on steering. An LSD WILL help torque steer caused by this. Last time I checked the EP3/DC5 chassis DOES have equal length halfshafts.

Have you tried the inverting the tie rod ends?

Thats what im going to be doing. Since theyre a taper fit I just need to find the right size spherical rod end stud to do it and drill it out. I simply havent had the time.

If one wheel is spinning, then you're right about an LSD helping.

You're right, the EP3/DC5 DO have equal length halfshafts.

Most people complain about torque steer when cornering. I believe that it's actually bump steer that they're feeling and has to do with the suspension geometry. It will be worse the more your car is lowered.
