p30 pistons in gsr, what rods do i have to use?

Default p30 pistons in gsr, what rods do i have to use?

will gsr rods perfectly fit p30 pistons? is ARP rod bolts recommended? any help would be appreciated...thanks

im sure you could have searched for this put the will fit the rods, just have a reputable machine shop swap em over and also do that arp bolt install which is a definitely recommended upgrade! btw your comp will be about 11.4-8 given your head choice.

^ I concur and 11.4/8 is = to pump gas hotness Good luck with your build, dont know what else your doing but your starting off great.

Yes, they will fit, no problem, arp rod bolts are cheap insurance

I have a gsr motor, and was thinking about the same thing of putting in p30 pistons to raise my compression. But someone told me that the pistons wont have any head room. Is this true?

I have p30-00 and it runs like a dream.. I'm using shot peened gsr rods..

yes the gsr rods will fit orr you can go with an ls crank ls rods shotpeened etc, p30 pistons and arp rod bolts this would make a great set up since ive used it in the past it pulls like a ***** and this way people will never know that inside that gsr block you have a lsvtec but just a bit better with the oil squirters for reliability as well as the vtec girdle #1 reason lsvtec break down at high RPM's also instead of stock ls rods go for sum h beams featherlights and you lighten you whole rotating assembly while having a motor thats good for 12k rpm and cheap to build
