Default how to chip a pr3 ecu?

Hi, i did a serch and could not find anything on how to chip a pr3 ecu. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

why would u chip a pr3, when you can chip a pm6 and have more options?

There is tons of info at http://www.pgmfi.org Read and learn.

If you're not comfortable taking the iron to your ecu, I might know someone who can perform that service...

all i have to do i think is remove the 28 pin chip and put the hondata one in. then put the 4 pin adapter for datalogging in the cn3 spot. am i right or am i missing something? thanks

Yeah, that's it. Remember to use a quality socket for the chip, it will save you a headache later.

um hondata wont work with your pr3.. you need a obd1 and above type ECU.

the pr3 you have is obd0 unless you have a SiR II obd1 and obd1 ecu. chnageover which i doubt.

the only ECU program and standalone/piggybacks for obd0 is TurboEdit that i know of,

The old Hondata staged system will work with the PR3. However, it has been discontinued and Hondata no longer offers support for it.

it will work i have a hondata stage 2. it works with pr3 and pwo ecus

can I use an OBD1 chipping kit in an OBD0 ECU. I guess all I need is the ZIF socket and the ECU chip. where would I find the stock pr3 rom. im trying to remove the knock sensor code from a PR3.......
